WWE Raw live results, updates, grades as Stephanie Vaquer defends world title – CBS Sports

The final WWE Raw of 2025 went down on Monday night, and the night saw both a look ahead to the first big match of 2026 and a big title change.
CM Punk and Bron Breakker will meet for Punk’s world heavyweight championship on Jan. 5 and the two men came face-to-face on Raw. Punk and Breakker both delivered their final messages ahead of that match, with Breakker saying he was no longer willing to wait to be champion and Punk assuring Breakker he wasn’t ready for the responsibility.
In the tag team division, The Usos took down AJ Styles and Dragon Lee to become nine-time WWE tag team champions.
CBS Sports was with you all night with recaps and highlights of all the action from Kia Center in Orlando, Florida.
The Vision opened the show with an in-ring promo. Shortly after the group entered the ring, new member Austin Theory took the microphone to speak when CM Punk’s music interrupted. Punk took a shot at Theory before telling Bron Breakker that he had some things he wanted to say, and that he could come to the ring and The Vision could attack him, but that would cost Breakker his shot at the world heavyweight championship next Monday. Punk and Breakker did share the ring, with Breakker telling Punk he’s tired of being told that he’s the future when he’s the now and that he’s willing to die in the ring to win the title, or to kill Punk to get it. Punk said he knows Breakker is ready for the opportunity, but he’s not ready for the weight of being champion, and Punk isn’t ready to give it up either.
Everything is building toward the first Raw of 2026 and Punk vs. Breakker, but there’s not much left to be said. Is WWE ready to pull the trigger on a Breakker world title reign? That question can’t be answered with another weekly war of words. Instead, everyone will find out next Monday night if it’s time, or if Punk wins to force Breakker to face a bit of doubt in his ability to operate at the top. The match is exciting, the ride to get there is less so. Grade: C+
World Tag Team Championship — The Usos def. AJ Styles & Dragon Lee (c) via pinfall to win the titles. Earlier in the night, Jimmy Uso confronted Jey Uso, asking Jey what was wrong. Jey said that nothing had gone well for him recently and he didn’t want to put his brother in the same bad spot he has been in. Jimmy told Jey to lock in and fired up his twin. The match was solid, as is to be expected, but The Usos showed a willingness to take shortcuts to win the titles. They didn’t need a shortcut in the end, however, as they hit Lee with a 1-D to score the win and kick off their ninth reign as tag champs.
I don’t know that the most interesting way to handle the story of The Usos was to win the tag titles in their first shot since reuniting, but they’re the legendary tag team in the story, while Styles and Lee have been a successful makeshift pairing. Hopefully, WWE sees the value in frequent title defenses, which was the best part of Styles and Lee’s time as champions. Grade: B
