Donald Trump<\/a> reiterated his apparent love for buxom bums during a rally in Michigan<\/a> on Sunday where he encouraged the crowd to compliment rapper Nicki Minaj<\/a>\u2019s behind.
Trump\u2019s cheeky comments about Minaj\u2019s derriere came as he explained his recent observation<\/a> on the Republican Ohio senator Jon Husted\u2019s rear end. Earlier in October, Trump said<\/a> of the former college football player: \u201cI don\u2019t do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn\u2019t know he was a great athlete. And I looked and I watched up and down. I looked at his ass and I looked at the whole \u2013 and then I looked at his hands. Look at his hands. He\u2019s got these, like, claws.
\u201cYou are a great athlete,\u201d Trump also said<\/a> to Husted. \u201cCongratulations.\u201d
Trump was speaking at the rally to support Mike Rogers<\/a>, the Michigan Republican Senate candidate. The Michigan race between Rogers and Democrat Abdul El-Sayed<\/a> remains neck and neck as both political parties scramble for control of Congress in the upcoming<\/a> midterm elections<\/a>. But he couldn\u2019t resist his purported other favorite topic.
This afternoon, Trump said the media buzz about these comments was \u201cfake news\u201d neglecting the athletic context of his statements. Trump said he had just learned Husted was a college athlete when he was \u201clooking at him up and down, and I\u2019m studying him\u201d.
Trump insisted his subsequent crack was \u201cin fun\u201d. \u201cI said: I looked at his ass, and I\u2019ve never done that with a man before. It\u2019s true. Off the record, women yes, men no, OK.\u201d
Trump then shouted out Minaj, who the New York Post said was donned<\/a> in \u201chead-to-toe Gucci\u201d today. Minaj, the paper also reported, was seen walking with Trump after leaving Air Force One.
\u201cBy the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before \u2013 Nicki Minaj<\/a>,\u201d Trump said, prompting celebratory woos from the crowd. \u201cThat\u2019s hard to miss. That \u2013 stand up! That\u2019s hard to miss.

Trump made statements about Husted\u2019s tush just over a week ago in Kentucky.
\u201cI examined his ass,\u201d Trump said of Husted, who was not at the event. \u201cAnd then I looked at his shoulders. I looked at his feet. I looked at his hand. I looked at his jawline. Studied him. He\u2019s got a jawline.
\u201cI then patted him on the shoulder, and it was like a piece of steel. I\u2019m still recovering,\u201d Trump said.
Trump also recently praised the appearance of Ed Gallrein, theRepublican congressional candidate from Kentucky.

\u201cI needed somebody good, and this guy walks through the door,\u201d Trump remarked of Gallrein, in describing his efforts to find a replacement for anti-Maga incumbent Thomas Massie. \u201cI said, look at this beautiful guy.\u201d
The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment about why Trump has been discussing others\u2019 bodies.
Trump\u2019s comments come amid criticism of his language style, which some have likened to grotesquerie.
During a Saturday rally for El-Sayed, Barack Obama joked<\/a> about Trump\u2019s White House renovation<\/a> efforts<\/a>.
\u201cHe\u2019s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened a Cheesecake Factory,\u201d the former president said.
Meanwhile, Trump said that the US-Canada trade war would soon<\/a> be in America\u2019s rear view.
