Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available,\u201d the office said in a statement.<br \/>The victim was airlifted to an out-of-area hospital and remains in critical condition.<br \/>As the investigation continued, authorities later found four deceased victims in a nearby home.<br \/>Solet was previously arrested in connection with a 2019 stabbing in Houma. According to a Houma police department news release, Solet, then 40, was accused of repeatedly stabbing a 59-year-old woman at a hotel following an argument.<br \/>Solet was identified as a suspect in the case when investigators learned he was a guest in the victim\u2019s room. Officers said the pair had got into some kind of argument and Solet stabbed the victim repeatedly in the upper body and head. She was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.<br \/>Solet was booked at the time on one count of attempted second-degree murder.<br \/>The 2019 case is separate from the current investigation. The identification of a person of interest does not constitute an arrest or criminal charge.
