I think it actually helps us,&#8221; she said. <br \/>Clinton argued that it allows voters to see the contrast between the Trump administration&#8217;s record and the potential for change from Democrats.  <br \/>&#8220;I am very confident we\u2019re going to take back the House, and I\u2019m increasingly confident we\u2019re going to take the Senate because I think the American people, even people who wanted to give Trump a chance, even people who voted for Trump, they didn\u2019t vote for what\u2019s happening now,&#8221; she said. <br \/>Trump claimed on Truth Social this morning that the GOP midterm convention in Dallas was &#8220;a major, sold out hit&#8221; even though there were hundreds of vacant seats in the arena. <br \/>&#8220;It was really something, streaming all over the place, and really big numbers, despite going up against the NFL. The overall numbers beat the NFL. The Arena, which was really nice, beat its own attendance records,&#8221; Trump said, adding, &#8220;There were thousands of people outside who couldn\u2019t get in. Hundreds of state delegates were seated on the floor of the arena, with other guests in the general seating areas.<br \/>The NFL&#8217;s viewership numbers from last night are also not yet available.<br \/>Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton argued this morning that the U.S. should remember the lessons learned from 9\/11 and take seriously the warnings about AI. <br \/>Clinton said in an interview on MS NOW&#8217;s &#8220;Morning Joe&#8221; that the &#8220;most dramatic statement&#8221; that came out of the 9\/11 Commission report &#8220;was that it was a failure of imagination.&#8221;<br \/>&#8220;That is what we\u2019re facing with AI,&#8221; she said. &#8220;The alarm bells are sounding. People from within the industry. &#8230; Let\u2019s learn the lesson of 9\/11, there was a failure of imagination.&#8221;<br \/>Clinton continued, &#8220;People could not imagine that a bunch of guys would go learn how to fly and fly commercial airliners into buildings, and now we\u2019re facing the same thing. And we faced it during Covid \u2014\u00a0there was a failure of imagination, a failure of honesty. Now we are facing it with artificial intelligence.\u201d<br \/>The former first lady&#8217;s comments come as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/tech\/tech-news\/anthropic-safety-researcher-resigned-warning-rapid-ai-development-gamb-rcna596767\" target=\"_blank\">people within the AI industry are issuing warnings<\/a> about the technology potentially ending humanity. <br \/>The president said last night that every adult U.S. citizen would receive a $5,000 \u201cdividend\u201d if Republicans win both the House and the Senate in November.<br \/>\u201cHere is my promise: If the Republicans win the House of Representatives and the United States Senate, both of them, because of our economic, tremendous economic success, I will issue a dividend to every adult citizen in the United States of America for $5,000,\u201d he said.<br \/>Trump, who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/doge\/trump-floats-giving-20-doge-savings-american-citizens-rcna192931\" target=\"_blank\">made a similar promise before<\/a>, added that the \u201conly condition\u201d is that it must be spent in the U.S.<br \/>\u201cWe don\u2019t want you going to Canada to spend the money. We don\u2019t want you going to China to Germany,\u201d Trump said. \u201cYou got to spend the money in the United States of America.\u201d<br \/>Trump added that he would call it \u201cthe Trump dividend.\u201d<br \/>\u201cSo if the Republicans win, you win with us, and you get $5,000,\u201d Trump said as the crowd cheered.<br \/>The White House did not immediately respond to questions about where the estimated $1.35 trillion would come from and how the requirement to spend in the U.S. could be enforced.<br \/>After Trump\u2019s remarks, Sen.
