Devoted Trump aide flooded her now-disabled profile urging people to \u2018never concede\u2019 on 6 January 2021
The Donald Trump<\/a> aide Natalie Harp<\/a> flooded a since-disabled social media account with pro-Trump posts on the day that the president\u2019s supporters attacked<\/a> the US Capitol in early 2021, years before she went to work for him and developed an extraordinary close relationship with him, a new report has revealed.
CNN on Saturday reported<\/a> that a deactivated account which Harp had on what is now known as X was packed with fiercely pro-Trump messages on the day of the January 6 Capitol attack in Washington DC, including posts repeating his lies that the 2020 election, which he lost to Joe Biden toward the end of his first presidency, had been stolen from by fraudsters.
\u201cFIGHT FOR TRUMP!\u201d Harp wrote 12 times in one of more than 150 posts that day alone. She followed that with a post declaring: \u201cToday, DC is TRUMP COUNTRY!\u201d
Among her other posts was the declaration \u201ctoday we STOP THE STEAL!\u2019\u201d. And as Trump delivered a speech that day, Harp wrote: \u201cWe will never give up. We will never concede!\u201d
CNN\u2019s reporting on those posts come as the US news media have put a spotlight<\/a> on Harp, 35, and her near-constant presence at the side of Trump, 80, during his second presidency.
The scrutiny has been fueled by intensely affectionate letters from Harp to Trump, including one in which she called him her \u201cGuardian and Protector in this Life\u201d; claims from her estranged brother that her relationship with the president is \u201cunhealthy<\/a>\u201d; and a recent speech from Jon Ossoff, a Democratic senator from Georgia, who contended<\/a> that one of the few things Trump wants to do is \u201ctravel with Natalie\u201d.
The social media account that CNN reported on, opened by Harp in 2016, also contained posts in which she compared Trump to a biblical figure, according to messages unearthed by the Daily Beast<\/a>.
\u201cWe all know the story of the Good Samaritan,\u201d Harp wrote as she went on to recount her claim that an intervention by Trump had saved her life while she grappled with cancer.
\u201cBut what you don\u2019t know is I was that forgotten person on the side of the road \u2013 left to die of medical error and cancer. The Political Establishment passed me by. But @realDonaldTrump didn\u2019t. Meet my Good Samaritan!\u201d she wrote in the 2019 message.
The X account now appears to be suspended. It remains unclear when it was taken down or whether Harp or the platform was responsible for removing the posts.
Harp<\/a>\u2019s official roles are special assistant to the president and executive assistant to the president \u2013 positions that come with an annual salary of $150,000.

Inside Trump\u2019s orbit, she has also earned the unofficial title of \u201chuman printer<\/a>\u201d \u2013 a reference to her role supplying the president with printed information.
CNN\u2019s report on Saturday also indicated that Harp\u2019s embrace of Trump\u2019s election-fraud narrative began well before the day of the Capitol insurrection. In the weeks leading up to the attack, she told followers: \u201cWe will never give up \u2013 for TRUTH is on our side. January 6th is coming!!\u201d
Her posts immediately following the election that ended Trump\u2019s first presidency were similarly emphatic.
\u201cWE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU! WE LOVE YOU!\u201d Harp wrote days after the election results. Then, on 14 December 2020, as she denounced Biden\u2019s victory, Harp posted: \u201cTHIS IS A COUP.\u201d
The resurfaced social media posts are not the only written materials now fueling scrutiny of Harp\u2019s devotion to Trump. The Daily Beast published two intimate letters<\/a> on Thursday written by the Trump aide in 2023.
Beside calling him her \u201cGuardian and Protector\u201d, she wrote in one letter: \u201cYou are all that matters to me.\u201d
She also wrote: \u201cI want to bring you joy, to feel like we can get through a day without ever having to talk \u2018work.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
