For the sixth week in a row, \u201cWorld News Tonight with David Muir\u201d stood as the No. 1 program in Total Viewers <\/strong>(8.187 million) on all of broadcast and cable <\/strong>(excluding sports) during the week of May 18, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
NOTE: On Wednesday (5\/20\/26), \u201cNBC Nightly News\u201d was retitled to \u201cNBC Nitely News.\u201d On Thursday (5\/21\/26), \u201cWorld News Tonight\u201d was retitled to \u201cWNT-ABC.\u201d On Friday (5\/22\/26), \u201cWorld News Tonight,\u201d \u201cNBC Nightly News\u201d and \u201cCBS Evening News\u201d were retitled. The retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages.
