\u2018World News Tonight\u2019 Is Delivering Largest Season Viewership in 4 Years and Is #1 for 10th Year in a Row, With Biggest Margin Over NBC in 31 Years and CBS in at Least 34 Years<\/strong>
For the eighth straight week, \u201cWorld News Tonight with David Muir\u201d stood as the No. 1 program in Total Viewers <\/strong>(7.660 million) on all of broadcast and cable <\/strong>(excluding sports) during the week of June 1, 2026, based on Live+Same Day Big Data Plus Panel Program Ratings from Nielsen Media Research.
NOTE: From Tuesday through Friday (6\/2-5\/26), \u201cWorld News Tonight\u201d was retitled to \u201cWNT-ABC.\u201d On Friday, \u201cCBS Evening News\u201d was retitled to \u201cCBS Evening Nws,\u201d and \u201cNBC Nightly News\u201d was retitled to \u201cNBC Nitely News.\u201d The retitled telecasts are excluded from the weekly and season averages.
