Rebecca Slaughter, the Federal Trade Commissioner fired last March, said she was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2026\/jun\/29\/us-supreme-court-ftc-ruling-slaughter\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">\u201cprofoundly disappointed<\/a> about today\u2019s decision\u201d during a press call.<br \/>\u201cThere\u2019s no sugar-coating Slaughter.
