Most beer drinkers are familiar with a tallboy, but Coors Light is expanding on that concept in anticipation of the 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>.
The beer brand on Tuesday, June 9, debuted a new Tallerboy canister \u2013 a limited-edition, taller-than-a-tallboy canister designed to hold and chill three full Coors Light cans at once.
The Tallerboy can is the latest extension of Coors Light’s soccer campaign ahead of the World Cup, which is kicking off this month. Earlier this summer, the brand launched “The Cooors Call,” a summer-long campaign featuring legendary Argentine soccer announcer Andre\u0301s Cantor and his iconic “GOOOOAL” cheer.
Coors Light fans can get the Tallerboy exclusively at Shop.Coorslight.com<\/a> for $30, dropping on June 11 and again on June 18 while supplies last.
“The Tallerboy is everything ‘The Cooors Call’ stands for, brought to life in physical form,\u201d Matt Carpenter, vice president of marketing at Coors Light, said in a news release.
Another beer brand owned by Molson Coors, Miller Lite, also recently unveiled a special item in honor of the upcoming Men’s World Cup.
Ahead of the global soccer event, Miller Lite launched the Miller Time MVP Matchball<\/a> \u2013 a soccer ball about 50% larger than a standard soccer ball \u2013 that holds up to 12 Miller Lite cans, comes with a display stand and is reloadable (beer not included).
Miller Lite made the limited-edition MVP Matchball available through multiple online drops starting May 20 and again on June 3. The ball went for $19.75, reflecting the year (1975) Miller Lite was created.
