For the first time since Covid, one of Walt Disney World\u2019s most beloved guest experiences is back.
The Tea Experience at Walt Disney World\u2019s Grand Floridian Resort returned in March 2026, six years since the last pot of tea was served in an elegant setting. The reopening brings a new menu, themed to Alice in Wonderland, but still continues Disney\u2019s longstanding collaboration with Twinings, the centuries-old English tea brand.
Chef Michelle Schutte said her team, as well as pastry chef Ally Rogers worked together to come up with a menu that honored the tradition of English tea with a twist of Disney.
\u201cThis has been a favorite spot for so many years,\u201d Schutte said. \u201cWe wanted to create something that was familiar, but whimsical.\u201d
It\u2019s located in Walt Disney World\u2019s Grand Floridian Resort in the Garden View Lounge.

The adult menu includes the choice of eight different teas, including Orangery of Lady Grey, an exclusive blend made by Twinings only available at The Tea Experience and in the England pavilion in EPCOT.
Tea is accompanied by three tiers of treats, including savory items like a curried chicken tart and egg salad sandwich to sweets like Matcha Mad Hatter and Tea Party Tart. The experience begins with an orange-cranberry scone, which came straight from Pastry Chef Ally Rogers\u2019 annual family Thanksgiving menu.
The children\u2019s menu includes a sunflower seed and jelly bun, turkey wrap and raspberry macaron. There\u2019s also an option for a plant-based menu.
Enhancements include a cheese plate for $21, caviar for $150 and a selection of alcoholic beverages.
\u201cGuests are expected to dress accordingly\u00a0in attire that respects the restaurant’s sophisticated and upscale aesthetic. Clothing should be clean, neat and in good condition. Please no swimwear,\u201d according to the Disney website.
