His service places him among a shrinking number of living veterans who witnessed and helped shape a defining era in American history.<br \/>\u201cTurning 100 is remarkable in itself but doing so after living through \u2014 and helping shape \u2014 such a pivotal era makes this moment truly special,\u201d said Nancy Mella-Oliver, vice president of operations at Windsor of Savoy. \u201cWe are celebrating not only a birthday, but a life defined by courage, resilience, and dedication.\u201d<br \/>The celebration will be held at Windsor of Savoy, 401 Burwash Ave., from 2-3 p.m., where attendees will recognize Anderson\u2019s military service, reflect on his legacy, and express gratitude for the sacrifices made by his generation.
