Repollet, Ed.D., president of Kean University. \u201cOur growing online programs empower students to pursue and complete their degrees on their own schedule, from wherever they are. It\u2019s about removing barriers and supporting success, whether students are balancing work, family or other commitments.\u201d<br \/>The rankings evaluated nearly 1,850 online bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s degree programs at regionally accredited institutions. In New Jersey, Kean\u2019s online programs ranked third statewide for online bachelor\u2019s programs serving veterans, tied for fourth for online bachelor\u2019s in business programs and tied for fifth for online bachelor\u2019s programs.<br \/>\u201cKean\u2019s online programs are built to deliver the same academic rigor students expect on campus,\u201d said Joseph Youngblood II, Ph.D., chancellor of Kean Global, Kean Ocean, and strategic global initiatives. \u201cBy extending learning beyond the traditional classroom, we also expand access for returning students and working adults, providing flexible, high-quality pathways that meet learners wherever they are in their lives and careers.\u201d<br \/>U.S. News &amp; World Report based its rankings on several measures, including student engagement, faculty credentials, and services and technologies that support online learners.<br \/>\u201cOur online programs are intentionally designed with today\u2019s learners in mind,\u201d said Jay O\u2019Callaghan, vice president for transformational learning and chief online officer at Kean University. \u201cThese rankings highlight the University\u2019s focus on student-centered learning, innovative technologies and equitable access to education.\u201d<br \/>Launched in 2016, the Kean Online unit of Kean Global now offers 15 majors and nine minors, along with nine graduate programs and various certificate programs.
