Undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue produced a clinic to beat Alan Picasso in Riyadh by unanimous decision.
After Japanese rival Junto Nakatani got past Sebastian Hernandez in the co-main, there was a lot of pressure on Inoue to deliver a win, and he did it with ease and style.\u00a0
While Picasso offered the odd dangerous punch, Inoue frequently replied in bunches, and 'The Monster' conducted a brutal assault on the Mexican's body.\u00a0
Picasso has to be applauded for absorbing the punishment, but it was clearly taking its toll with the Mexican beginning to sink whenever he was backed up onto the ropes.\u00a0
Inoue may not have produced one of his trademark knockouts, but he showed that his fast fighting style can go the full distance if needed in a performance which had everyone watching with awe.\u00a0
After a one sided 12-round affair, Inoue was declared the winner with scores of 119-109, 120-108 and 117-111, and now fight fans eagerly await Inoue's next move with many hoping a clash with Nakatani can be made for the first half of 2026.\u00a0
