President Donald Trump has said that Ukraine must make concessions as it is \u201closing\u201d the war with Russia<\/a>.
The US leader said President Volodymyr Zelensky <\/a>\u201cis going to have to get on the ball and start accepting things\u201d, adding: \u201cWhen you\u2019re losing \u2014 because he\u2019s losing,\u201d in an interview with Politico<\/em>.
He added: \u201cHe[President Vladimir Putin]<\/a> had no respect for Zelensky, didn\u2019t like Zelensky. They really hate each other. And part of the problem is they hate each other really a lot, you know. And it\u2019s very hard for them to try and make a deal. It\u2019s harder than most.\u201d
It comes shortly after the US President accused Zelensky of stalling progress on a peace agreement by refusing to accept demands that favour Russia<\/a>.
Speaking to the German tabloid Bild<\/em>, Trump said: \u201cHe needs to get his act together and start accepting things.\u201d
Earlier on Tuesday, Trump said that European leaders were \u201cweak\u201d. In an extraordinary attack on Washington\u2019s closest allies, he accused countries such as France or Germany of failing to take decisive action to end the war in Ukraine.
Yvette Cooper responded to Donald Trump\u2019s comments that Europe\u2019s nations are \u201cdecaying\u201d and have \u201cweak leaders\u201d.
The foreign secretary said: \u201cWhat I see in Europe is strength: The strength and commitment to the support for Ukraine and also strength to step up to the plate and to ensure that we are increasing our investment in defence, and also ensure that we are doing our bit through the coalition of the willing, as well as through investment in military support and the energy infrastructure support that Ukraine needs.\u201d
Sir Keir Starmer has led tributes to a British armed forced member who was killed in Ukraine.
The prime minister expressed his \u201cdeepest sympathy and condolences\u201d for the services member, who died as he watched the testing of a new defensive capability, according to the Ministry of Defence.
He shared on social media: \u201cMy deepest sympathy and condolences to the family of the member of our armed forces who sadly lost their life today.
\u201cTheir service and sacrifice will never be forgotten.\u201d
Ukraine<\/a> is to present a revised peace plan to President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s administration on Tuesday after weeks of negotiations which have failed to produce an agreement<\/a>.
The latest iteration of the deal comes after President Volodymyr Zelensky<\/a> remained firm in his refusal to cede crucial strategic territory <\/a>to Russia<\/a>.

Well, the man can be maddening in all manner of ways but, as ever, I\u2019d love to offer a balanced assessment of his peace plan for Ukraine<\/a> so far as we understand it, and his motivations.
The meeting at Downing Street between Volodymyr Zelensky and the leaders of his country\u2019s principal allies in Europe<\/a> is designed to demonstrate, both to Mr Zelensky and the wider world, that the Ukrainian people are not alone in their struggle for freedom. Specifically, it is a reminder to the Americans and the Russians that there can be no lasting peace settlement<\/a> without the freely given consent of Ukraine.
The prime minister, Sir Keir Starmer, is joint leader of the \u201ccoalition of the willing\u201d with President Macron, Europe\u2019s pre-eminent military and nuclear powers, while the chancellor of Germany, Friedrich Merz, is at the helm of its largest economy, and one that remains a formidable industrial player<\/a>.
Hundreds of Porsche<\/a> cars have stopped working in Russia<\/a> due to an issue with a satellite-based security system, according to local reports.
