In an interview on Fox & Friends on Friday morning, the US president was asked what he intended to do to heal the wounds of Kirk\u2019s shooting in Utah. \u201cHow do we fix this country? How do we come back together?\u201d he was asked by the show\u2019s co-host Ainsley Earhardt, who commented<\/a> that there were radicals operating on the left and right of US politics.
Less than 48 hours after Kirk was shot in broad daylight on the campus of Utah Valley University, Trump replied: \u201cI tell you something that is going to get me in trouble, but I couldn\u2019t care less.\u201d
He went on: \u201cThe radicals on the right are radical because they don\u2019t want to see crime \u2026 The radicals on the left are the problem \u2013 and they are vicious and horrible and politically savvy.
