Stripping out the volatile food and energy components, the so-called core PCE Price Index increased 0.3% last month. That followed a 0.3% rise in the core inflation in June.<br \/>&nbsp;<br \/>In the 12 months through July, core inflation advanced 2.9% after rising 2.8% in June.
