Chelsea<\/a> lead Flamengo after Pedro Neto fired them ahead in their second group game at the 2025 Club World Cup in Philadelphia today.<\/strong>
The Premier League giants and the Brazilian side both won their tournament openers 2-0, against LAFC of the MLS and ES Tunis respectively, to get their Group D campaigns off to a flyer.
Both will hope to wrap up qualification for the knockout stages today in Pennsylvania.

Flamengo have played some nice football but there\u2019s no cutting edge at the moment. It\u2019s been a fractious contest.
Delap was a booking waiting to happen after his rather bizarre earlier clash with Leo Pereira, who saw the Chelsea striker\u2019s challenge coming a mile off and made the most of it.
A bit naive on Delap\u2019s part, that. Neto, without question, is Chelsea\u2019s most dangerous attacker.
Maresca will be very satisfied with that first half.
Chelsea have matched Flamengo's intensity, defended solidly when required and played some incisive attacking football to earn the lead.
But the moments of indiscipline are becoming a real issue; Caicedo, Neto, and Delap are all one more late tackle or niggly clash away from not finishing this game.<\/p>\n
