Hyderabad<\/a> is all set to host the 72nd Miss World World Competition with all glitz and glamour from May 10 which will continue for next three weeks.\u00a0
The event which will kick off later this evening in Gachibowli Indoor Stadium will have a fusion of glamour laced with Telangana culture with participants from 120 countries. The competitive rounds will commence on May 20 with a Continental Finale at T-Hub which will be followed by the Talent Finale on May 22. A key component of the Miss World Festival, the Top Model Fashion Finale, is slated for May 24.\u00a0
Telangana to host 72nd Miss World pageant
After the beauty with a purpose fete on May 26, the competition will close with the grand finale at Hitex on May 31 in which the new Miss World will be crowned.\u00a0On June 2, the Telangana State Formation Day, the Chief Minister will host a high tea for the team.\u00a0
According to official information, the cost of the event is pegged at \u20b952 crore half of which will be borne by the organisers, the Miss World Organisation. The State government is expected to spend \u20b96 crore and remaining funds will be sourced from the sponsors.
