ahead of the expected announcement.<br \/>Speaking to the London defence conference, Sir Keir said: &#8220;Talks with the US have been ongoing and you&#8217;ll hear more from me about that later today.<br \/>&#8220;But make no mistake, I will always act in our national interest, for workers, businesses and families, to deliver security and renewal for our country.&#8221;<br \/>Senior Trump officials have been engaging in a flurry of meetings with trading partners since <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/news.sky.com\/story\/trump-to-reveal-details-of-global-liberation-day-tariffs-13339740\" target=\"_blank\">the US president announced his &#8220;liberation day&#8221;<\/a><\/strong> tariffs on both the US&#8217;
