But in a move away from Russia, Volodymyr Zelensky <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.co.uk\/news\/world-europe-67816987\" class=\"ssrcss-f6h2dj-InlineLink e1kn3p7n0\">changed the law in July 2023<\/a>. But it might be enough to persuade the US to stay on board of peace talks. <br \/>When my mother asked me what Putin\u2019s ceasefire means, I had to give an honest answer.
