WASHINGTON<\/span><\/span>, April 8, 2025<\/span><\/span> \/PRNewswire\/ — U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in rankings and consumer advice, today unveiled the 2025 <\/a>Best Graduate Schools<\/a><\/u> rankings.
Designed for prospective students looking to further their education beyond college, the rankings evaluate programs in various disciplines, including engineering<\/a><\/u>, <\/a>medicine<\/a><\/u>, business<\/a><\/u>, law<\/a><\/u>, education<\/a><\/u>, nursing<\/a><\/u> and social sciences<\/a><\/u>.
This year’s rankings emphasize the results that education can bring. There were very limited changes in this year’s rankings formulas. A few new rankings were computed to help students make the best-informed decisions for their careers.

<\/u><\/b>The University of Pennsylvania<\/span> \u2013 Wharton ranks No. 1, while Northwestern University<\/span> \u2013 Kellogg and Stanford University<\/span> tie for No. 2.
Best Law Schools <\/a>
<\/u><\/b>Stanford University<\/span> and Yale University<\/span> tied for the No. 1 spot, with The University of Chicago<\/span> at No. 3., the University of Virginia<\/span> at No. 4 and University of Pennsylvania<\/span> \u2013 Carey at No. 5.
Best Medical Schools: Research <\/a>

California Institute of Technology<\/span> and Purdue University<\/span> \u2013 Main Campus tied for No. 5.
Best Nursing Schools: Master’s Programs<\/a>
<\/u><\/b>Emory University<\/span> ranks No. 1, with John Hopkins University coming in at No 2, The Ohio State University<\/span> at No. 3, Vanderbilt University<\/span> at No. 4 and Duke University<\/span> at No. 5.
Best Nursing Schools: DNP Programs<\/b><\/a><\/u>
Johns Hopkins University<\/span> was No. 1, with Duke University<\/span> at No 2, University of Washington<\/span> at No. 3. Rutgers University<\/span> \u2013 Newark<\/span> and University of Minnesota\u2013 Twin Cities<\/span> tied at No. 4.
