At the same time, war-hit <a href=\"\/topic\/ukraine\">Ukraine<\/a> is facing 10 per cent tariffs from the US administration. <a href=\"\/topic\/donald-trump\"><\/a><br \/>It comes as <a href=\"\/topic\/vladimir-putin\">Vladimir Putin<\/a>\u2019s top negotiator, Kirill Dmitriev, held meetings in <a href=\"\/topic\/washington\">Washington<\/a>.<br \/>Mr Putin&#8217;s investment envoy and one of the most US-savvy members of Russia&#8217;s elite, Mr Dmitriev, met with US officials in <a href=\"\/topic\/washington\">Washington<\/a> yesterday. The highest-ranking Russian official to visit the US since the invasion in February 2022, he is visiting on invitation from Mr Trump\u2019s Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff.<br \/>His visit comes at a time when the Trump administration continues to press Russia and <a href=\"\/topic\/ukraine\">Ukraine<\/a> to agree to a ceasefire. She now drives with authority, her manicured fingers resting at the wheel.<br \/><strong><em>Read the full report:<\/em><\/strong><br \/>Moscow has accused Kyiv of launching \u201cprovocative\u201d attacks on Russian energy facilities despite a US-brokered halt on such strikes. <br \/>Ukraine has also accused Russia of violating the truce, with Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday accusing Putin\u2019s forces of attacking energy infrastructure in the Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions. <br \/>Mr Zelensky said Kyiv was reporting Russian ceasefire violations to the US on a daily basis. <br \/>Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Ukraine has used western weapons to carry out more than 30 attacks on energy infrastructure in Russia. <br \/>&#8220;The attacks on Russia&#8217;s energy infrastructure are targeted and are purely provocative and demonstrative,&#8221; she told reporters.
