Donald Trump<\/a> claimed that serving as president again in 2028 would be a fourth term just hours after stating that he was not \u201cnot joking\u201d about considering another four years in the White House.<\/a>
During an interview with NBC News<\/a> Sunday, Trump told Kristen Welker<\/a> \u201cthere are methods\u201d that could enable him to stay in office for an unconstitutional third term.

After claiming that he welcomes Donald Trump\u2019s attempts to end the conflict in Ukraine, the lawmaker stated that the president \u2013 and his administration \u2013 are handling Putin with \u201cvelvet gloves.\u201d
Bacon, who endorsed Trump in both the 2020 and 2024 elections, wrote: \u201cIn recent weeks, too many of my fellow Republicans \u2013 including Mr. Trump \u2013 have treated Russia with velvet gloves, shying away from calling out Mr. Putin\u2019s flatly illegal war and even blaming Ukraine for starting it.
