Russia is losing the highest number of soldiers a day since Vladimir Putin ordered the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the UK army chief has claimed.
Sir Tony Radakin told the BBC <\/em>that Russian forces were suffering 1,500 casualties a day. He described the cost of the war on the Russian people as \u201cextraordinary\u201d.
\u201cRussia is about to suffer 700,000 people killed or wounded \u2013 the enormous pain and suffering that the Russian nation is having to bear because of Putin\u2019s ambition,\u201d said Sir Tony.
