With just a week left in the 2024 US presidential election cycle, Donald Trump<\/a> and Kamala Harris<\/a> are making their final pitches<\/a> to voters across the country, particularly the battleground states.
The vice president delivered a \u201cclosing argument\u201d<\/a> at the Ellipse in Washington DC, the site of his notorious \u201cfight like hell\u201d speech on January 6, 2021.
In her remarks before a crowd of 75,000 people, Harris said American patriots \u201cdid not struggle, sacrifice and lay down their lives\u201d only to \u201csee us submit to the will of another petty tyrant\u201d, referring to her political opponent.
Meanwhile, Trump continues to face fallout from his controversial rally on Sunday at New York\u2019s Madison Square Garden, during which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe described Puerto Rico<\/a> as a \u201cfloating island of garbage.\u201d Speaking in Pennsylvania on Tuesday, Trump told supporters that \u201cno president has ever done more for Puerto Rico.\u201d
