World's largest steam train makes stops across Iowa today – KWWL

[TAMA, Iowa] — The world’s largest steam locomotive is rolling through Iowa on its way to the East Coast for America 250 celebrations.
The Union Pacific Big Boy Train Number 4014 is touring the country and is now in the Hawkeye State. The train rolled through Tama early Monday and is scheduled to make a stop at the 8th Avenue Crossing in Belle Plaine from 12:15 to 12:30 p.m.
The train also made previous stops in Denison and Carroll in western Iowa. It is expected to spend Monday night in Cedar Rapids before continuing its tour Tuesday at 9 a.m.
