The city’s final match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup could be a historic one. Later today, the United States will face Belgium in the round of 16 at Seattle Stadium,. A spot in the quarterfinals is on the line, which the U.S. team last reached in 2002. Kickoff is at 5 p.m. PT, and gates open at 2 p.m. PT.
Ticket prices for today’s match have dropped slightly since the U.S. advanced last week with a 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tickets start at $1,540 as of Monday morning and FIFA’s official resale site showed tickets starting at $1,552.
But what if you don’t have a ticket or want to stream the game at home? Here’s what you need to know if you’re heading downtown today to soak up the atmosphere of Seattle’s final World Cup match.
Seattle’s Pioneer Square Pedestrian Zone will open at 12:30 p.m. Only pedestrians will be allowed into the area spanning five blocks north of Seattle Stadium and on 1st Avenue to the west of the Seattle Stadium. The pedestrian zone will close around 9 p.m., or about two hours after the match after crowds have left the area. See the full map of closures here.

Yes, supporters of both teams will be gathering in different locations to head to Seattle Stadium. Here’s what you need to know:
King County Metro’s free shuttle service will be running every ten minutes today between the stadium and Seattle Center.
According to King County Metro, bus, water taxi, access paratransit and Metro Flex on-demand services will all be expanded. The Seattle Streetcar and the Sound Transit Link lines will also run more frequently.
Seattle’s official fan zone celebrations are free and open to the public.
