Why State Farm Arena ranks Top 10 in the world for 3rd straight year – USA Today

December 18, 2025 by quixnet

Atlanta’s State Farm Arena has been ranked one of the best in the world for a third year in a row.
The arena, which is home to the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks and countless concerts and events, was ranked fifth in the nation and seventh globally by Billboard’s The Year in Touring 2025 Report.
State Farm Arena hosted 94 shows, more than 939,000 spectators and grossed more than $121.1 million, excluding Hawks games, between Oct. 1, 2024 and Sept. 30, 2025, according to the report.
“It is an incredible accomplishment for us to be recognized among the best in Billboard’s end-of-year rankings,” Trey Feazell, executive vice president of arena programming at State Farm Arena, said in a Dec. 16 statement.
Over the course of the year, the arena was host to Paul McCartney, Dua Lipa, Pearl Jam, Usher, Nate Bargatze, Katt Williams, Lil Baby, Lil Wayne, Rauw Alejandro, Shakira, Tate McCrae, UFC Fight Night, the WWE, college basketball games and the WNBA.
Here’s how the Atlanta arena compared to venues from around the world (with 15,001 or more capacity and excluding stadiums).
“We value the experience of every employee, artist, fan, and partner who walks through our doors, and we are honored to share our signature Southern hospitality with them,” Amanda Mann, State Farm Arena’s executive vice president and chief facilities officer, said in the statement.
There are still a few events coming in the 2025 calendar year before Atlanta rings in 2026.
On Dec. 18, Jermanine Dupri, Kehflani, Nelly and others will join 96.1 The Beat for the Jingle Ball. The CBS Sports Classic will be hosted at State Farm on Dec. 20. Rod Wave will have two appearances on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29.
In the new year, Ariana Grande, Cardi B, Lady Gaga and Megan Moroney will all be making stops in Atlanta at State Farm Arena. Other performers include B2K and Bow Wow, Conan Gray, Demi Lovato, Eric Church, Gabriel Iglesias, Katt Williams, MANÁ, New Edition, Olivia Dean and TWICE.
The arena will also continue to hosts Atlanta Hawks games and other events. A full event list can be found here.
