Alabama’s journey in the Little League World Series continues today as Phenix City faces the East Side Little League and the accompanying crowd that made the trip from West Chester, Pennsylvania to Williamsport for the tournament.
Phenix City is scheduled to take the field at approximately 6 p.m. CT on Monday, Aug. 24 for its third game of the Little League World Series.
To keep Alabama’s first LLWS appearance since 1999 alive, Phenix City downed California, 12-2, by run-rule over the weekend, bouncing back from a 2-0 opener loss during the week prior.
The LLWS runs from Aug. 19 to Aug. 30. Phenix City will play again on Monday, August 24.
Phenix City will play the Mid-Atlantic region representative, East Side Little League, based out of West Chester, Penn.
Phenix City will play at approximately 6 p.m.
All LLWS games will be televised on ESPN, which can be streamed via ESPN+ and Fubo.
