What time is USA soccer game today in California? Us players to watch – The Desert Sun

July 2, 2026 by quixnet

The U.S. men’s national team begins its World Cup knockout-round journey Wednesday in California, where a spot in the Round of 16 is on the line at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.
Fresh off its first group-stage title since 2010, the Americans will take on Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32 as they continue their quest for the program’s first World Cup championship on home soil.
Bosnia and Herzegovina qualified for the knockout stage as a third-place finisher. It finished behind Switzerland and Canada in the Group B standings but still managed to earn four points after drawing with Canada, losing to group winner Switzerland and beating Qatar in its final group-stage match.
Bosnia and Herzegovina will be hoping to avoid the same fate as Germany, Sweden, South Africa, Ivory Coast, the Netherlands and Japan – all of which lost in their round-of-32 matches as of Tuesday.
