US stock futures rose on Monday as rate-cut hopes steadied markets after steep November losses. Dow futures gained 0.3%. S&P 500 futures added 0.6%. Nasdaq 100 futures climbed 0.9%. The S&P 500 is still down 3.5% this month. The Nasdaq is lower by more than 6%. The Dow has fallen nearly 3%. New York Fed President John Williams said a December cut is possible. Alibaba jumped over 3% premarket after Qwen AI hit 10 million downloads. Gold slipped to $4,066 as traders priced a 60% chance of a December cut. Markets face a thin Thanksgiving week.
