Donald Trump has been speaking in the crucial swing state of North Carolina today on the final weekend of campaigning. Elsewhere, Grammy Award-winning singer Alicia Keys is set to join Michelle Obama at a Kamala Harris campaign event.

As we get closer and closer to election day, supporters of both parties know that every vote counts.
Both candidates are especially keen to get their messages across in the key swing states.
A campaign official for Kamala Harris claims their volunteer team is averaging 2,000 door-knocks per minute across perhaps the most important of these states – Pennsylvania.
The Keystone State is arguably the most significant individual race in the election, offering candidates 19 electoral college votes – the most of any battleground state.
Both Ms Harris and Donald Trump have visited there more than any of the other swing states, showing just how important the pair consider it.
Pennsylvania had voted Democrat in every election from 1988-2012 until it turned red in 2016 when Mr Trump beat Hillary Clinton by a margin of just 0.8 per cent.
Joe Biden then re-captured the state in 2020 in a razor tight race that went to a recount.

There are two main differences between election coverage in the UK and the United States.
Last July, at 10pm, Sky News’ exit poll graphic predicted a Labour landslide and a massive defeat for the Conservatives.
Confirmation of this forecast was a long time coming since constituency results are only announced by local returning officers once all votes have been counted.
Americans do things differently and for good reason. Polling stations close much earlier in the east than they do in the west. When voting has hours to go in some states, they’ve already started counting elsewhere.

The FBI says videos circulating on social media claiming to be from the agency and relating to the 2024 election are false.
The first video, according to the FBI, said the agency had apprehended three groups committing ballot fraud and that the second was “relating to the second gentleman” Doug Emhoff.
“These videos are not authentic, are not from the FBI, and the content they depict is false,” the FBI said in a statement.
“Attempts to deceive the public with false content about FBI operations undermines our democratic process and aims to erode trust in the electoral system.”
The FBI has told our US partner network NBC News they had no additional details to provide on the videos beyond their written statement.
We’ve heard from both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris today, who are pushing hard in the final days of campaigning.
So with the clock ticking, let’s take a look at the polls on the final weekend…
According to the latest numbers, Ms Harris holds a slender one point lead nationwide over her rival.
But remember – it doesn’t matter who wins the popular vote, it’s all about the electoral college.
Who wins that will be determined by seven key swing states – so let’s look at the polling there too…

Cheers and claps are filling an upstairs suite of the Holiday Inn in Lancaster where Kamala Harris supporters have gathered to canvass and campaign.
Organisers remind the energised crowd that there are just three days left until election day.
“When we fight, we win” is chanted through the room as signs are waved into the air.
Some people are here to listen to local officials and Harris’s husband Doug Emhoff who is making an appearance shortly.
Others are here to canvas in Lancaster County – an important area in the swing state of Pennsylvania.
Last weekend, groups knocked on 30,000 doors to encourage people to vote for the Democrat, Juan Delgado, one of the organisers said.
Many of the people here are Latino voters and a local Senate candidate Trex Proffitt mentions the “hate” that has been seen towards that community in the last week.
He says Donald Trump is a “thug” and warns that if he returns to the White House other communities will be targeted.
Second gentleman Doug Emhoff has filled out his mail-in ballot, casting a vote for Kamala Harris in a moment he said he will “never forget”.
Both Ms Harris and Mr Emhoff are California residents, where mail-in ballots must be sent on or before election day.
Kamala Harris walks out to Freedom by Beyonce – a constant anthem for her during her campaign.
She quickly goes on the attack towards Donald Trump, backing herself as the “next generation” of leadership against a man who she says is “increasingly unstable”, “obsessed with revenge” and out for “unchecked power”.
“In less than 90 days, it’s either going to be me or him in the Oval Office,” she says.
Ms Harris is met with huge cheers of “Kamala! Kamala! Kamala!”.
She says Mr Trump will walk into the White House with a list of enemies, whereas she will walk in with a to-do list for Americans.
Georgia is expected to be a crucial state in the race for both Mr Trump and Ms Harris to become president. Polls show the two are still neck and neck.
“You will make the difference in this election. It all comes down to this,” she tells the crowd.
Kamala Harris is speaking in Atlanta, Georgia.
We’ll be covering her comments here in this live blog, but you can also watch along by clicking the stream at the top of this page.
Donald Trump is currently speaking in Gastonia, North Carolina.
It’s a crucial swing state, but one that has only been won by a Democratic presidential candidate once in the last 50 years.
Mr Trump is greeted by big cheers as he walks to the stage and tells the crowd, “I will bring back the American dream”.
The Republican, who only beat Joe Biden by a little over 1% in this state in 2020, says: “We win this state, we’re gonna win the whole ball game.”
He goes on to make promises over the economy, saying he will “end inflation”. On migration, Mr Trump says there’s “nobody that ever did the border job like I did”.
We’ll have more on this rally in the blog and you can follow along below…
It’s another busy day for Donald Trump and Kamala Harris who are both busy trying to win over voters with just three days before the election.
Mr Trump has already appeared in Gastonia, North Carolina – we’ll bring you more on that soon.
He’s also expected to deliver remarks in Virginia later, a state that hasn’t voted for a Republican presidential nominee in decades.
Vice President Kamala Harris meanwhile is due to speak in Atlanta shortly, in the battleground state of Georgia.
She’ll then also be in North Carolina to address a crowd in Charlotte.
Both the Republicans and Democrats see the state as a must-win, and polls suggest the race is extremely close.
After enjoying another celebrity endorsement in Cardi B yesterday, Ms Harris is expected to have Grammy Award-winner Alicia Keys joining Michelle Obama tonight in Pennsylvania to show her support.
