Donald Trump announcement live updates: US President Donald Trump appeared in a press conference at the White House and announced that US Space Command is moving to Alabama, reversing Joe Biden’s decision.
This came after his weeks-long absence from presser and diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI). However, on September 1, Trump broke his silence on the speculation surrounding his health, reacting after a weekend in which ‘Trump is dead’ rumours went viral on the internet. Some also speculated whether “Is he resigning?”.
“NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE. Also, DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE!” he posted on Truth Social.
“Joe Biden would go multiple days at a time without any public appearances and the media would say he’s “sharp” and “top of his game”. Meanwhile he was wearing diapers and napping. President Trump puts in more public work hours than any other POTUS in US history and media freaks out if he disappears for 24 hours. Comical double standard,” he added.

“I am thrilled to report that the US Space Command Headquarters will move to a beautiful locale of a place called Hounsfield Alabama, forever to be known as ‘rocket city’. Congratulations everybody. This will result in more than 30,000 Alabama jobs, hundreds of billions of dollars of investment. Most importantly, this decision will help America defend, and dominate the high frontiers…” PTI quoted Trump as saying.
When asked, “How did you find out over the weekend that you were dead?” Trump replied, “I didn’t hear that one. That’s pretty serious stuff… It’s fake news… That’s why the media has so little credibility.”

Trump, during the press conference, said that US ‘shot out’ a drug carrying boat from Venezuela on its way to America. He added, “It just happened moments ago.”
Trump said, “I didn’t do any for TWO DAYS and they said ‘there must be something wrong with him.’ Biden wouldn’t do anything for months.”
“You wouldn’t see him and nobody ever said there was anything wrong with him, and we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape. I was very active over the weekend. They also knew I went out to visit some people at the club that I own pretty nearby on the Potomac River,” he added.

Giuliani was a passenger in a rented Ford Bronco driven by Goodman when it was rear-ended by a 19-year-old woman’s Honda HR-V on Interstate 93.
Both vehicles struck the median and were heavily damaged.
Goodman and the 19-year-old driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were hospitalized.
Giuliani suffered a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations, contusions, and injuries to his left arm and leg.
He was transported by ambulance to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation; no charges have been filed.

“It has been an honor to dedicate my life to the service of our great state and country,” Ernst said. “After so much love and support during my career in the military and public service, it’s time for me to give back to them.”
“After a tremendous amount of prayer and reflection, I will not be seeking re-election in 2026,” she said.
Highlighting her tenure, Ernst pointed to efforts to cut government waste, reduce regulations, defend farmers and small businesses, protect veterans, and strengthen the US military. She also underscored her advocacy against violence toward women and her support for anti-abortion policies.
