It’s that time of year again. Parents and kids across San Antonio are gearing up for the return to class.

UPDATE (4:40 P.M.) – Boerne Little League has unfortunately been eliminated from the Little League World Series after falling to Hamilton, OH, in their elimination match (1-6).
Boerne lost their first game of the series to Tacoma, WA, on Friday (3-4).
The team had won the Southwest regional title with a 4-1 victory over Louisiana on Aug. 10. This was the team's second-ever Little League World Series appearance, the first one being just two years ago.

BOERNE, Texas — The Boerne little leaguers are set to get back on the field today at the Little League World Series Boerne tries to break through after a heart-breaking loss on Friday.
The team is set to play an elimination match against the West Side Little League of Ohio at 2 p.m.

The fellas all had social obligations with the brewers and braves playing a big league game out there in Williamsport Sunday night.

Kase grew up all around baseball. His grandpa is Burl Yarbrough, the longtime general manager of the Missions.
His dad is Geoff Curtin, the Boerne baseball coach and it was a "once in a lifetime" experience for these families too.
