2024 U.S. News & World Report education rankings place seven high schools in the Philadelphia region among Pennsylvania’s top 20 public high schools, including one from Delaware County.
Radnor High School received a state ranking of No. 6 in the state, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
The high school, in the Radnor School District, has 1,126 students enrolled and offers a teacher-student ratio of 12:1.
Its college readiness index is reported at 66.8 out of 100 and its percentile score on Keystone Exams is 97.5 percent. It boasts a graduation rate of 97 percent.
“Radnor’s vast selection of electives is impressive,” Lizzo writes, “with courses in cooking essentials, metals and jewelry, journalism and more.
“The kids are resilient. If they don’t get results right away, they stick with it and get the numbers they wanted all along,” said Main Line Test Prep and Tutoring’s Steve Odabashian.
Niche has consistently ranked Radnor High School among the top four best public high schools in the state between 2024 and 2018.
In 2016, U.S. News & World Report named Radnor High School among the top four percent of public high schools in America.
