Chris Reed, the university’s associate vice president for enrollment management and chief enrollment officer, said providing the highest-quality programs that meet the needs of students, wherever they are, is part of the university’s mission.
“While we continue to commit to world-class, in-person instruction that is a hallmark of the Texas A&M University experience, we recognize the need for online offerings to serve both the needs of our students and the state and nation, especially with our graduate and professional programs,” Reed said. “These rankings validate the caliber of graduate students at Texas A&M and the rigor of our online programming, led by our incredible faculty, helps prepare the workforce of tomorrow in these key areas of business, engineering, nursing and teaching.”
The annual ranking evaluates numerous factors to determine the best online undergraduate and graduate degree programs in the nation, including engagement; graduation rates; faculty credentials and training; support services and technologies; and peer assessment.
Beyond this recent recognition for its online graduate and professional programs, Texas A&M is ranked by the Wall Street Journal as the best university in Texas and No. 1 in the SEC.
