Club World Cup quarter-final action concludes at MetLife Stadium where Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund meet later today.
It is a repeat of the 2024 Champions League final with a place in the semi-final against either PSG or Bayern Munich on the line.
Madrid are the record winners of this tournament with five titles. Dortmund, meanwhile, have never won it.

Jude Bellingham spoke to the media and after a thoughtful message of his own, more on that shortly, he was asked how Trent Alexander-Arnold was feeling.
💬 “It was a really tough day for him to process. I think they were team-mates for five years. As a team we were there to support him. It's a terrible shame, I'm sure everyone, every player, every club send the condolences and love to his family. Horrible bad news.”

While Trent Alexander-Arnold has moved to Real Madrid, he was at Liverpool for the entirety of Jota's time there.
The England right-back put out a lovely message for his late friend on his social media accounts on Thursday — as you can see below.
At the start, you hope it cannot be true, that it has all been a terrible misunderstanding and that something will pop up online to let us know that the internet is a wicked place when it comes to the distribution of fake news.
But then the reports start to accelerate and, waking up to the news about Diogo Jota, you realise there has been nothing on his social media accounts since the wedding photographs that he posted, lovingly, heartbreakingly, just a few hours before his life was taken away.
“A day we will never forget,” Jota had written alongside a video montage from the ceremony in Porto, the Portuguese city where he and his childhood sweetheart, Rute Cardoso, fell in love.

The football world is in mourning after the desperately sad news of Diogo Jota's passing on Thursday.
The Liverpool forward and his brother Andre Silva, a professional player for Portuguese side Penafiel, died after being involved in a car crash in Spain.
Local police confirmed to The Athletic the incident occurred at 00:30 local time on Thursday morning on the A-52 — a 400km carriageway running from Madrid to the Spanish region of Galicia, north of Portugal — in the province of Zamora, in north-west Spain.
The Lamborghini car, which was occupied by 28-year-old Jota and Silva, 25, went off the road and suffered an impact, causing the vehicle to catch fire, local authorities confirmed. It is yet to be confirmed which of the two were driving the vehicle at the time of the incident.
A moment of silence was held before yesterday's quarter-finals and will be held before today's games.
It all started at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida where Al Hilal — the conquerors of Manchester City in the last 16 — were eliminated by Fluminense. The hero for the Brazilians was, once again, the appropriately named Hercules as he came off the bench to score the winner.
Then Chelsea made it past Palmeiras. Cole Palmer's first-half opener was cancelled out by a brilliant finish from Estevao, who is joining Chelsea after the conclusion of this tournament, before a late own goal sealed the Premier League side's place in the semi-final.
There's a bit of a UEFA Champions League feel to today's Club World Cup action as it is an all-European affair in today's quarter-finals.
Up first is a meeting between the European champions and the German champions before our focus turns to this match.

MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey
This is the place to be for the rest of the Club World Cup as each of the last four matches of the tournament will be played here. Both semifinals and the final will be played in the same stadium that will host the 2026 World Cup final. Javing been to MetLife Stadium multiple times to cover the Copa America last summer, I can understand why the venue has been chosen for back-to-back FIFA tournament finals.
It’s gigantic. It’s the type of stadium that makes one feel tiny in comparison with the colossal concrete structure. Argentina’s Copa América semifinal against Canada was a prime example of what MetLife Stadium can sound like for a big international football match. The Argentines took over the ground, chanting and singing throughout the game.
If you’re a sports fan, there is no better place to follow all your favourite teams, leagues, and players than with The Athletic.
From the UK, we’ve got you covered throughout this expanded Club World Cup and on into the build-up to next summer’s World Cup, while Wimbledon started at the beginning of the week. Elsewhere, the F1 season is well into its European swing and there is Open Championship golf just a couple of weeks away.
We have the lot covered and much more, so make sure you’re fully informed with access to our full experience. And you’re in luck — you can subscribe to The Athletic on an exclusive offer here.
Every match at this Club World Cup will be broadcast around the world (where available) on DAZN.
There are, however, other ways to watch with DAZN sub licensing out the rights for a select number of matches.
This game is one of those that you can find elsewhere; TNT, truTV and Univision are showing it in the U.S. and Channel 5 have the rights in the UK.
Two kick-off slots today and this one is in the later of the two. Fortunately for those of you hoping to follow from Europe, it isn't too late.
Kick-off in this one is at 4pm (ET) local time, 1pm (PT) on the west coast, 9pm (BST) in the UK and 10pm (CET) in Central Europe.
Hello! And welcome along to The Athletic where we were nearing the championship rounds at the Club World Cup.
This game, between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund at MetLife Stadium, is the last of the quarter-final ties and then there will be just three more matches.
There are storylines everywhere you look here with this fixture being a repeat of the 2024 Champions League while also pitting Jude Bellingham against his former club, and now the employers of his brother.
Plenty of time to go until this one gets underway, so stick with us.
