Rodri will have to wait a little longer to make his return to the starting lineup as Manchester City face Juventus at the Club World Cup today.
It is a crucial game for both sides, with City knowing that anything other than a win would see them finish second in Group G and likely have to face Real Madrid in the last 16.
Rodri has not started a match since suffering an ACL injury in September but has come off the bench in both games in the United States so far, against Wydad AC and Al Ain.
The Ballon d’Or winner played for 30 minutes in both matches and could be in line for more action tonight, but Pep Guardiola said he will not start.
Claudio Echeverri is City’s only injury concern and he is unlikely to play again at the tournament due to an ankle problem.
The likes of Ruben Dias, Phil Foden and Rayan Cherki could all return to the side in Orlando, having been on the bench for the 6-0 win over Al Ain last time out.

Ilkay Gundogan scored twice in that match but could miss out with City having so many options to choose from.
Ederson is expected to replace Stefan Ortega in goal, while Savinho and Jeremy Doku are pushing to be involved out wide.
Rico Lewis remains suspended after his one-match ban for a straight red card against Wydad AC was increased to three games by tournament organisers FIFA following a disciplinary review. Matheus Nunes should keep his place at right-back.
Predicted Man City XI: Ederson, Nunes, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol, Reijnders, Gundogan, Savinho, Cherki, Foden, Haaland
Injured: Echeverri
Suspended: Lewis
