It was a hard task to complete, and in the end only Luis Alejandro Plascencia O. (MEX) managed to do it … producing a double-clear effort in the Longines FEI World Cup in Puebla, Mexico).
Aboard the 14-year-old KWPN gelding, Huberth B (Verdi TN x Mr. Blue, breeder: F.A.J van der Burg) the Mexican rider jumped to the win! Huberth B was produced at an international level by Doron Kuipers and later also competed by Erynn Ballard (CAN) and Rodrigo Lambre (BRA).
“I’m so happy, this World Cup qualifier is a very, very special Grand Pirx. It’s very hard. Usually there’s one or two clears each year. I couldn’t be happier with the horse… He got the win today!” Luis Alejandro Plascencia O. said.
On stage Juan Antonio Chedraui Eguia and his 13-year-old KWPN-gelding, Con-Cor (Starpower, breeder: Fam. Flamma) followed as runner-up with one rail down. Con-Cor was produced at an international level by Kars Bonhof.
Dutch breeding also secured the third spot as Arturo Parada Vallejo and Laretto (Adagio de Talma) jumped to the third place. The 10-year)old gelding (breeder: Pieter Dolfsma) was recently competed by Willem Greve and before Sander Geerink!
