Outlook 2003 Setup Instructions July 27, 2017 by Outlook 2003 Open Outlook 2003. On the top menu bar, click Tools and select E-mail Accounts. Select View or change existing e-mail accounts. Click Next Highlight the account you’d like to edit and click on the Change button. Select the Servers tab at the top. Ensure that your Incoming mail server (POP3) is set to pop3.quixnet.net. Ensure that your Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is set to smtp.quixnet.net. Under the Incoming Mail Server, ensure that your Account name is your full email address (I.E. helpdesk@quixnet.net). Ensure that the Remember passwordcheck box is checked. IMPORTANT: DO NOT check the Log on using Secure Password Authentication check box. Click on the More Settings button. Click on the Outgoing Server tab at the top. Ensure that My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication is checked. This should be set to Use same settings as my incoming server. Click OK to go back to the main accounts window. In the main accounts window click Next, then Finish. Your email is now setup to work with Quixnet.
