This is a nice little partnership building for Sri Lanka. They need Chamari Athapaththu to stay there – if they are going to get close to this total, she will need to get a lot of the runs.
One scoring shot from Kranti Goud's fifth over as Harshitha Samarawickrama takes a leg-side single off its fifth delivery.
Goud has figures of 1-17 thus far, she may well now come off for the time being, with one over left in the powerplay.

Athapaththu smacks Goud for 'massive' six
You can see that the ball has flown off the bat with pace on. Teams will be watching this and wondering whether pace off is a better option.
Three fours in the over for Harshitha Samarawickrama.
She throws her hands at Amanjot Kaur's first delivery and sees the ball race through third.
She then manages to beat two diving fielders to find a gap in the covers, and turns a ball heading down leg through fine leg.
A single sent square makes it 13 off the over.
Harshitha Samarawickrama is in at number three for Sri Lanka.
She runs a leg bye off the final ball of the over to retain the strike – there's an appeal for lbw but there doesn't look to be much in it and India rightly choose not to review.

That was a really smart piece of bowling from Kranti Goud. This young seamer from India continues to impress.
She has been pitching the ball up and this was a wild heave across the line from Hasini Perera.
Perera b Goud 14 (SL 30-1)
The curse of Ffion Wynne.
Hasini Perera misses a big cross-batted swipe at Kranti Goud's delivery and sees her stumps splayed.
Reward for an excellent opening spell from the youngster.

Sri Lanka will be delighted to have not lost a wicket.
I thought India would have taken the momentum into this innings, but Sri Lanka have held their own.

A lot more control from Amanjot Kaur. Kranti Goud has also been excellent with the new ball so far.
Hasini Perera gets two to the right of point off Amanjot Kaur before taking a single off the pads.
Amanjot then finishes with four dot balls to Chamari Athapaththu.

A massive hit from Chamari Athapaththu! She has so much power.
That is remarkable.
Big hit from Chamari Athapaththu!
She flails at Kranti Goud's last delivery – I'm not sure the ball goes exactly where she intended, but it flies over the covers for the first six of the innings.

A couple of singles from the second over at Amanjot Kaur's end.
Sri Lanka's current required run-rate is 5.93 runs an over.
One scoring shot from Kranti Goud's second over, as Hasini Perera works the ball past a diving backward point fielder.
It runs away to the ropes for her first four.

Mike Peter! Never trust a man with two first names! I hope for a smoother Sri Lanka innings for all our sakes!
Qaz, London
Amanjot Kaur, off the back of her efforts with the bat, has the ball in hand at the other end.
She starts with a wide before Chamari Athapaththu crashes her through backward point for the first four of the innings.
Another run comes as a throw from point deflects off the non-striker's stumps, allowing the Sri Lankan batters to take a single.

This is a tall order but if Sri Lanka get close to it then it will be a very exciting watch.
Right-arm seamer Kranti Goud takes the first over for India.
Two runs come from it, a leg bye and a Chamari Athapaththu push into the off side.
Goud is playing in only her eighth ODI, having made her national team debut in May.
Right, the players are gathering on the boundary, we'll be resuming shortly.
Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu open the batting alongside Hasini Perera.
A lot of Sri Lanka's hopes rest with their 35-year-old skipper – she averages 35.24 from 115 ODIs, with nine hundreds and 19 half-centuries.

'I've definitely come here to win the tournament'
England head coach Charlotte Edwards says reaching the semi-finals is the minimum expectation for her side.
Four-time champions England reached the final of the previous edition in 2022 and were beaten by Australia, but were knocked out at the semi-final and then group stage at the most recent T20 World Cups.
"I've definitely come here to win the tournament, of course, but Australia are always going to go in as favourites, India are in their backyard," said Edwards.
"So we know where we sit, but we also know that we can beat any team on our day and I think we've shown that over the last week, but we've got to do it consistently. We've got to do it under pressure in big events."
