Fluminense are leading 1-0 Al Hilal in the first half of their Club World Cup quarter-final at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.
These two teams facing off at this stage of the tournament guarantees that at least one of the semi-finalists will a non-European team. They were involved in two of the shocks of the Club World Cup in the last 16; Al Hilal beat Manchester City in extra time and Fluminense took out Inter.
Today's winner will face either Palmeiras or Chelsea in the semi-final.

That is a brilliant finish from Martinelli — what a way to open the scoring in a quarter-final!

That's so poor from Juan Freytes.
He was far too casual in possession as he looked to get his side up the pitch and his pass was very easily picked off by Malcom.
Attempting to make amends, the Fluminense defender bizarrely kicked the Brazilian in the midriff. A yellow card all day long and, like Lodi, Freytes will miss the semi-final if his side make it through.
32' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
I don't envy the players out there at Camping World Stadium at all today.
The temperature is 83F which not sound too bad in isolation but 73 per cent humidity is not football weather.
Inzaghi was quick to get his players around him as they made their way over for a drink — I can't imagine this first half hour is what he will have wanted to see.
30' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
Al Hilal have spent more of this first half camped inside their defensive third than they would have liked.
Milinkovic-Savic is getting through a lot of work and just made a key sliding intervention to keep Gabriel Fuentes' dangerous cross away from getting into a crowded penalty area.
Fluminense will be very happy with how this first half hour has panned out, I reckon.
27' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
This is more like it from the Saudi Arabians.
They had hardly strung five or six passes together in this first half, but have been able to keep the ball away from their opponents in the last few minutes.
It ended with an extremely speculative shot on target from Nasser Al Dawsari — there were far too many players between him and a goal and his effort was blocked at the source.
From the resulting corner, Kalidou Koulibaly rose highest to meet the delivery from Ruben Neves but completely missed it. No repeat of his heroics against Manchester City there.
22' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
Simone Inzaghi is not a happy man down on the touchline. Then again, Simone Inzaghi always looks angry!
He is not happy with how his side have started and they now have two players on yellow cards after Renan Lodi went flying through the back of his man.
The Brazilian was unhappy to see the yellow card brandished, probably because he knows he will miss the semi-final if Al Hilal make it through.

Ask and you shall receive. The 18th minute brought the first shot and it wasn't from clever Fluminense build-up or a moment of magic, but some really sloppy play from Al Hilal.
They were caught in possession just inside their own half by Nonato who then raced onto a dinked pass from Jhon Arias. Nonato had no support so went for goal from 20 yards, but his effort flew harmlessly over the crossbar.
At least we've finally seen a shot!
15' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
I was generous in calling this an attritional start a little earlier on, I think I'd go with cagey now.
Al Hilal, in typical Inzaghi fashion, are not bothered about spending long periods of the game out of possession but Fluminense just haven't looked like breaking through them.
All that has made for a pretty boring start — 15 minutes on the clock and we are still waiting for the game's first shot…
11' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
It hasn't taken long for the yellow card to come out and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the man forced to reluctantly receive it.
He was beaten all ends up by Nonato in the middle of the park and was just far too slow in trying to stop him, cynically tripping him instead of winning the ball back.
A centre midfielder like Milinkovic-Savic is not someone you want playing on a yellow card for 80 minutes.
8' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
Despite my prediction for how this match was going to play out, it is Fluminense who have had more of the early possession (60 per cent) but neither team have been able to cause any problems in the final third so far.
Simone Inzaghi's teams are always supremely well set up and that is exactly how Al Hilal have looked so far today. And we saw the threat they carried on the break against Manchester City which, against an ageing Fluminense defence, will surely be a threat again today.
4' Fluminense 0-0 Al Hilal
Fluminense know that they are going to have to wait for their moments in this game, as they have done all tournament.
Al Hilal certainly have the better players out there, so it looks like it'll be a case of the Brazilians staying compact and resolute defensively and looking to make inroads on the counter-attack.
This should be a great game.

The ball is rolling at Camping World Stadium and we are underway for the first quarter-final tie at this Club World Cup!
Before we get underway in Orlando, we are having a moment of silence after the terribly sad news of Diogo Jota and Andre Silva's passing.
Of the players out on the pitch, my heart goes out to Ruben Neves and Joao Cancelo, both international team-mates of Jota's. Both players look extremely sad, but are somehow finding a way to keep themselves together.
Our thoughts go out to all of Jota and Silva's loved ones at this terrible time.
I'm not sure these kind of crowds for games like the quarter-finals are what Gianni Infantino had in mind when he launched this tournament.
Camping World Stadium looks a little over half full — with certain parts of the stadium closed — as the players emerge onto the pitch from the tunnel.
Both sets of fans will, however, make a lot of noise.
Kick-off is coming next.
An Al Hilal fan having a bit of fun at Manchester City and Erling Haaland's expense.
Both teams will be pretty happy to have seen each other make it through the last 16. Fluminense would have been expecting to face Manchester City today and Al Hilal would have thought Inter were going to make it through.
Al Hilal are the favourites to win today — Opta's supercomputer has given them a 50 per cent of winning in 90 minutes, compared to 25.6 per cent chance for Fluminense.
The Brazilians are, however, on a 10-game unbeaten streak in all competitions so have become particularly tough to beat in recent weeks. Al Hilal's run without defeat stands at nine games coming into this one.

A couple of The Athletic's finest brains were on prediction duty for today's game.
Jack Lang: Fluminense 0-1 Al Hilal — Fluminense will want to keep things tight, but the Saudis may have too much individual quality.
Jordan Campbell: Fluminense 1-2 Al Hilal — it will be close as Fluminense are a spirited side, but Al Hilal have a goalkeeper in inspired form and more pace and quality in the final third.
The weather in the United States has been a challenge for players all throughout the Club World Cup, and today is no different.
It's currently hot and humid in Orlando, with a temperature of 88 degrees Fahrenheit (31 degrees Celsius) and a brutal real feel of 103 F (39 C). There is at least plenty of cloud cover today.
The forecast calls for showers and possible thunderstorms, but thankfully not until after this match should be over.
Expect cooling breaks during the match, and for the pace of play to be affected.

When considering the best player in Fluminense's squad, it is hard to look past Jhon Arias, whose intelligence, skill and vivacity have been central to everything Fluminense have done this summer.
Part of the 27-year-old’s charm is how hard he is to pigeonhole. Is he a winger? A second striker? An all-action midfielder? The answer is that he can do all of those jobs and more.
