The Emory University Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing’s Bachelor of Science (BSN) program is now ranked No. 1 in the nation, according to rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report. This ranking accompanies the school’s No. 1 master’s program ranking and its No. 2 Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program ranking.
Emory School of Nursing has been ranked in the top five since U.S. News began ranking undergraduate programs in 2021. This ranking marks the second time that the school’s undergraduate nursing program has been ranked No. 1 in the nation alongside the master’s program.

Emory School of Nursing is consistently recognized as a leader in nursing education. In addition to its top U.S. News rankings, the school is among the top five nursing schools in the country in National Institutes of Health funding and was named a 2022-2027 Center of Excellence by the National League for Nursing.
To receive the undergraduate rankings survey from U.S. News & World Report, an institution’s nursing school must be accredited at the bachelor’s level by either the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education or the Accredited Commission for Education in Nursing and be a regionally accredited institution that awarded at least 35 BSN degrees.
