The Blue Jays are looking for their third World Series title tonight, while the Dodgers are hoping to force a Game 7.

John Schneider just told Ken Rosenthal that Kevin Gausman will go at least one more inning. "As long as he's good, he's at least got another one, at the very least. Kev's our guy. … He knows this is his last start. He's definitely going to empty the tank."
Kevin Gausman's pitch count was a bit elevated early thanks in part to all those strikeouts. Then the Dodgers struck for three runs. Gausman has settled down nicely with back-to-back scoreless innings since. But Shohei Ohtani worked a nine-pitch at-bat, and Gausman is at 82 pitches through five innings. Good chance the Blue Jays are going to need at least nine outs from their bullpen tonight.

Pitching to Ohtani will remain a tough call for the Jays. He’s the only member of tonight’s Dodgers lineup with a postseason OPS over .845 (and his is 1.083).
They’ve intentionally walked him once tonight. Gausman struck him out and induced a nine-pitch ground out in the other at-bats.

Miguel Rojas and Mookie Betts had to be quick with Daulton Varsho running, and they were. Mookie with good footwork and a strike.
That was an 82.5-MPH throw from Mookie Betts, his hardest of the postseason by a full MPH.
Miguel Rojas and Mookie Betts turned the heck out of that double play. Yamamoto's made some big pitches when he's had to outside of the George Springer RBI single.

Did you see the way that strike three called on Guerrero was caught?
The pitch was at the bottom of the zone. He caught it even lower and then tried to bring it up to make it look good.
The pitch with the naked eye, because of the way it was caught, looked low. In actuality it was right at the knee and a good pitch.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. was not pleased with that called third strike earlier in the fourth inning, He appeared to mouth "that's down" as he shook his head leaving the batter's box.
But looks like Adam Hamari got the call correct.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto absolutely dotted that last splitter to strike out Vladimir Guerrero Jr. there. There's just nothing you can do with that pitch.
