Conservative podcaster Candace Owens has come up with new claims in Charlie Kirk‘s assassination. Taking to her Instagram stories, Owens alleged that the US ‘military is involved’. Like many of her other claims, which came in the wake of the Turning Point USA founder’s assassination, she’s yet to provide proof to back this up.
Kirk was shot and killed on September 10, when attending an event at the Utah Valley University. After his assassination, Owens has had a host of theories, including alleging Israeli involvement and even pointing fingers at TPUSA’s senior leadership.
Now, her new claim has turned focus on the US military. Owens took to Instagram stories, on December 9, to announce that she’d received an email from a ‘man in the military’, claiming it came last night. “It feels like today will be the day that the government can no longer deny it. Charlie Kirk was assassinated and our military was involved,” Owens added.
Owens’ claims were widely shared by various social media handles online.
One person wrote on X, “Candace Owens claims she now has evidence linking the U.S. Military to Charlie Kirk’s assassination.”
Another wrote, “Candace Owens received a hot tip last night, after allegedly saying a prayer for the ‘final piece,’ and now says the US Military was involved in Charlie Kirk’s assassination.”
Yet another added, “There’s not one US military guy who would hand over classified info to Candace Owens. If someone were to turn on America they take it to press or something. They aren’t gonna give it to Candace. I mean come on people. We don’t even know how JFK was killed.”
Authorities, meanwhile, have arrested Utah native Tyler Robinson in connection with Charlie Kirk’s murder. FBI Director Kash Patel had said that they were exploring all avenues, earlier in the investigation, but have since then stuck with Robinson as the sole suspect in the case.
