Last week, the major publication released its 2026-2027 list of the top places to live. The 250 cities highlighted were sorted based on a value index (basically cost of living), quality of life, desirability, and the job market.
Johns Creek landed the No. 5 spot on the national list, making it best place to live in Georgia. It also ranked No. 3 on the U.S. News list of best small cities to live and No. 112 on best places to retire.
Johns Creek is about 5 miles northwest of Duluth and 28 miles northeast of Atlanta.
