January 1, 2026 by quixnet

The 2025/26 Paddy Power World Darts Championship continues on New Year’s Day, as the quarter-finals take place on a bumper day at London’s Alexandra Palace.
The opening day of darting action in 2026 will see the remaining eight players continuing their pursuit of the Sid Waddell Trophy, as reigning champion Luke Littler takes on Poland’s number one Krzysztof Ratajski.
2023/24 World Champion Luke Humphries will face European Champion Gian van Veen in a blockbuster last eight showdown, while two-time winner Gary Anderson meets the tournament’s surprise package Justin Hood.
Elsewhere, Ryan Searle – who is yet to drop a set in this year’s tournament – opens proceedings against fifth seed Jonny Clayton, who is eyeing his first semi-final appearance at Alexandra Palace.
The Paddy Power World Darts Championship is being broadcast live on Sky Sports in the UK, through the PDC’s worldwide broadcast partners including DAZN and Viaplay, and on PDCTV (excluding UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria & Switzerland based subscribers).
